Hi, I'm Aziz.
I build products and the teams behind them. I lead products end to end: I plan them and work through their problems, technical and not, with the same engineering instinct for where things break. What I care about most is how teams actually work, and how we build the environment, the habits, and the relationships that help us do our best work. Over the past 5+ years I've led product and security teams and helped ship more than 10 different products alongside a lot of great people.
Off the clock I build small tools and apps for myself, train for different competitions like fitness challenges, HYROX, and running and obstacle races, and set aside time to read. I also run with Cyber Runners, a community where people from tech and security train together and trade what they know.

An app to help you keep up your prayers and stay on top of them, on iPhone and Android. Straight from the notification, one tap records each salah: in the masjid, in jamā'ah, on time. Then it shows you the numbers and stats for whether you are improving week over week.

Wime started as an attempt to track time and lift productivity with as little distraction and manual input as possible. It follows your time based on where you are, and gives you space to write notes and journal entries tied to each place. In the end it hands you a chart of how you spend your hours and days, with a map of where you have been.

A running community for cybersecurity professionals, built to grow healthy habits and keep people motivated. We train together and follow the community's progress on our own platform: members, monthly distance, number of sessions, and a shared monthly goal that everyone on the team contributes to.

A guide to Riyadh for visitors, in English and Arabic. It is my own take on the city, not a list of the most famous spots. Where I eat and stay, how to get around, and what to know before you land.

The athletic side
One of the things I care about and keep up with is my athletic side and my progress in it, whether I'm training for competitions like HYROX or running small experiments on nutrition, recovery, and how training data actually predicts how I feel. I talk about it here and there across social.
